Azelia Terms of Service

Rules, streaming conditions, and your agreement for using Azelia

Summary: Use Azelia for legitimate music streaming in Discord. Don't abuse it or exploit it. Respect copyright. Premium is non-refundable after 48 hours. We don't host audio — we stream it.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Azelia to your Discord server, using any of its commands, or interacting with Azelia-related services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These Terms apply alongside Discord's Terms of Service and the terms of any music platforms you access through Azelia (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Music).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age, consistent with Discord's minimum age requirement. You must also comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction regarding music streaming and digital content consumption.

3. Permitted Use

Azelia may be used for:

  • Streaming publicly available music content in Discord voice channels
  • Playing tracks, playlists, and albums from supported platforms
  • Managing server music queues and playback settings
  • Creating and managing personal saved playlists
  • Applying real-time audio filters to streamed content
  • Accessing song lyrics for informational purposes
  • Running continuous 24/7 music streams in eligible servers

4. Prohibited Use

Violations may result in immediate blacklisting from Azelia with no appeal.

You may NOT use Azelia to:

  • Stream or redistribute copyrighted content in violation of applicable law or platform terms
  • Attempt to extract, download, or re-host audio content streamed through Azelia
  • Exploit rate limits, abuse queuing, or intentionally overload Azelia's infrastructure
  • Use bot commands in rapid succession to cause denial of service (command flooding)
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to replicate Azelia's code or systems
  • Use Azelia in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Circumvent premium restrictions, exploit free tier limits, or share premium access credentials
  • Operate multiple automated accounts to abuse Azelia's systems simultaneously
  • Stream content in violation of your local laws regarding digital media consumption

5. Music Streaming

Azelia functions as a streaming intermediary — it fetches audio from licensed sources (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Music) and streams it into Discord voice channels via Lavalink infrastructure.

  • Azelia does not host, store, or own any audio content
  • All audio is sourced from third-party platforms under their respective terms
  • Azelia accesses content through official developer APIs where available
  • Availability of specific tracks depends entirely on the source platform
  • Track unavailability (geo-restrictions, removed content) is outside our control

Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of Azelia complies with applicable copyright laws in their jurisdiction. Specific notes:

  • Streaming music in a private Discord server for personal listening is generally considered fair use in many jurisdictions, but this is your responsibility to verify
  • Commercial use, public broadcast, or revenue-generating streams using Azelia may require appropriate licensing
  • Azelia Development accepts no liability for copyright infringement by users
  • We will comply with valid DMCA takedown notices and legal process where required

7. Premium Terms

7.1 What Premium Includes

Premium unlocks: unlimited queue length, lossless audio quality, dedicated Lavalink nodes, priority command processing, and extended playback history. Current features and pricing are published in the support server.

7.2 Payment

Premium is billed per the subscription period selected at time of purchase. All transactions are processed externally. Azelia Development does not store payment card or banking information.

7.3 Refund Policy

Purchases are non-refundable once activated. Exceptions considered within 48 hours of purchase:

  • Documented technical failure that fully prevented premium feature access
  • Proven duplicate accidental charges

Refund requests must be submitted with supporting evidence within 48 hours via the support server.

7.4 Revocation

Premium access may be revoked without refund for ToS violations, chargebacks filed in bad faith, or sharing premium access with non-subscribers.

8. User Playlists

Playlists saved through /playlist save are stored on Azelia's servers linked to your Discord user ID. You retain ownership of your playlist data. We reserve the right to remove playlists containing illegal, harmful, or abusive content.

Playlists are not backed up by ZorveX Development. You are responsible for maintaining copies of important playlist data through the /playlist list command.

9. Service Availability

Azelia targets 99.9% uptime but provides no guarantee of uninterrupted service. Factors outside our control include Discord API outages, Lavalink node failures, and third-party platform API changes. Planned maintenance will be announced in the support server.

Music platform API changes (particularly Spotify and YouTube policy changes) may affect available features at any time without advance notice from us.

10. Termination

We may suspend or permanently blacklist any user or server from Azelia for ToS violations without prior notice. You may terminate your use at any time by removing Azelia from your server. Blacklisted accounts may not be re-invited to Azelia under alternate accounts.

11. Limitation of Liability

Azelia Development and Nabarup Chanda are not liable for:

  • Music unavailability due to third-party platform changes or outages
  • Loss of queue data during service interruptions
  • Copyright liability arising from user content requests
  • Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages from use of Azelia
  • Audio quality variations caused by source platform limitations

12. Modifications

These Terms may be updated at any time. Material changes will be announced in the support server with at least 7 days notice. Continued use of Azelia after the effective date constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
