TL;DR: ZorveX collects minimal data needed to function. We never sell your data. You can request deletion anytime. Your server's information is only used to provide ZorveX's features.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of data by ZorveX ("the Bot"), operated by Nabarup Chanda ("Venom", "we", "us"). By inviting ZorveX to your Discord server or interacting with it, you agree to this policy.
ZorveX is committed to privacy by design. We collect the minimum data required to operate the bot and nothing more.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Guild Data
- Guild ID (server ID) — required to store per-server configuration
- Channel IDs — for logging, welcome, and ticket configuration
- Role IDs — for role management, reaction roles, and automod whitelist
- Server configuration preferences (prefix, feature toggles, threshold settings)
2.2 User Data
- User IDs — for moderation records, warnings, bans, and whitelists
- Moderation case history (warn reasons, ban reasons, timeout durations)
- Whitelist/blacklist status within a server
- Ticket interaction history (ticket IDs, creation timestamps)
2.3 Message Data
- Message content is processed in real-time for AutoMod only — it is never stored persistently
- Deleted message content may be temporarily cached for logging features if your server has logging enabled
- We do not read or process messages in DMs under any circumstances
2.4 Data We Do NOT Collect
- Real names, email addresses, or personal identifiers outside of Discord
- Payment information of any kind
- Message content from DMs
- IP addresses or device information
- Voice channel audio — ZorveX never records voice
3. How We Use Data
All data collected by ZorveX is used exclusively to provide the bot's features within your server. Specific uses:
- Guild configuration data — persists your server settings between bot restarts
- Moderation records — enforces your configured rules and provides moderators with case history
- Logging data — generates audit logs as configured by your server administrators
- AutoMod processing — real-time analysis to detect and respond to rule violations
- AntiNuke data — monitors permission-sensitive actions to detect and respond to attacks
- Ticket data — manages support ticket workflows including creation, assignment, and closure
4. Data Storage
ZorveX data is stored in a MongoDB database hosted on secured infrastructure. Data is:
- Stored with encryption at rest
- Isolated per guild — your server's data is inaccessible to other servers
- Backed up regularly with secure backup procedures
- Accessible only to the ZorveX operator (Venom) for maintenance and debugging
5. Data Sharing
ZorveX does not sell, rent, or share any collected data with third parties. No exceptions.
Data may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
- If required by applicable law or valid legal process
- To prevent imminent harm, fraud, or abuse of the service
6. Data Retention
Data is retained as long as ZorveX is present in your server. Upon removal:
- Server configuration data is scheduled for deletion after 30 days
- Moderation records are retained for 90 days then purged automatically
- You may request immediate deletion at any time (see Section 7)
7. Your Rights
As a user or server owner, you have the right to:
- Access — request a summary of what data ZorveX holds about your server
- Deletion — request immediate deletion of all server data
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate moderation records
- Portability — request an export of your server's configuration data
To exercise any of these rights, open a ticket in the ZorveX Support Server or DM venom_2021_ directly on Discord.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical safeguards to protect collected data. However, no system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it privately to venom_2021_ on Discord before public disclosure.
9. Minors
ZorveX is subject to Discord's Terms of Service, which requires users to be at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If you believe a minor's data has been collected inappropriately, contact us immediately.
10. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated periodically. Material changes will be announced in the ZorveX Support Server with at least 7 days notice. Continued use of ZorveX after changes constitutes acceptance.
